Muhammad Kamal Hossain, Ph.D., is an accomplished neuroscientist and pharmaceutical researcher specializing in organoid technology, neurodegenerative diseases, and translational pharmacology. He earned his Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Jeonbuk National University, South Korea, with research integrating cerebral organoids, in vivo models, and in silico approaches to understand Alzheimer’s disease pathology and therapeutic strategies. He is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Organoids Laboratory, Department of Pharmacology, College of Dentistry, Jeonbuk National University, and at the Non-Clinical Evaluation Center and Biomedical Research Institute of Jeonbuk National University Hospital. His research interests include brain and multiorgan organoids, Alzheimer’s disease, autophagy, calcium signaling, ER stress, cannabinoids, cancer metastasis, probiotics, and non-clinical safety and efficacy evaluation platforms. He has extensive academic experience as an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy and has served in multiple editorial and reviewer roles for international journals. His scholarly output includes high-impact publications in neuroscience, pharmacology, and organoid research, as well as authored books on cannabinoids and computational approaches. He has received several prestigious honors, including the APAN 60 Fellowship, Outstanding Young Researcher Award from the Pharmaceutical Society of Korea, and the Brain Korea Dream Research Award. Overall, his work reflects a strong commitment to innovative, multidisciplinary research advancing global biomedical science.
