Ahmed S. I. Abdelnaby is an Egyptian academic and horticulture specialist serving as a Lecturer in Floriculture, Medicinal Plants, and Landscape Architecture at the Faculty of Agriculture, Zagazig University. He holds a Ph.D. in Horticulture (Floriculture and Landscape), following an M.Sc. that included Erasmus+ training at the University of Sassari, Italy, and a B.Sc. in Horticulture, graduating first in his class with honors. His academic experience spans roles as Demonstrator, Assistant Lecturer, and Lecturer, with extensive teaching contributions in horticulture, ornamental and medicinal plants, landscaping, interior and rooftop design, and soilless culture. His research focuses on landscape design and management, sustainable land management, evaluation of ornamental and medicinal plants, rooftop and campus gardens, and the role of green spaces in wellbeing and sustainability. He has published in reputable international and national journals and actively participates in conferences and professional training programs related to agriculture, landscape design, and research development.
